Quintes Token (QNT)
The main asset behind the Quintes ecosystem.
QNT is the synthetic asset at the heart of the Quintes ecosystem, a programmable token designed to mirror the growth of the Quintes Index.
Core Principles
QNT follows the same foundational logic as other high-quality synthetic assets:
Tracks a reference asset – Instead of following USD, Gold, or Bitcoin, QNT tracks the Quintes Index, a governance-controlled metric that increases predictably over time.
Minted through collateralization – QNT can only be created by locking approved collateral (e.g., USDC, wBTC, or ETH) inside a personal vault.
Fully overcollateralized – Every QNT is backed by at least 200% of high-quality collateral, ensuring system safety.
Redeemable on demand – QNT can always be redeemed through the protocol for its equivalent collateral value, ensuring a hard price floor.
What Makes QNT Different
Unlike traditional synthetic assets that mirror volatile, real-world prices, QNT tracks the Quintes Index — a protocol-governed, steadily appreciating reference that grows at ~33% annually.
This design gives QNT a predictable, non-speculative growth path, allowing holders to benefit from a stable appreciation rate rather than market speculation.
Why It Matters
Built-in Growth: QNT’s price naturally follows the rising Quintes Index, enabling long-term linear appreciation.
Market Independence: QNT’s value trajectory is determined by protocol governance, not external market volatility.
Liquidity and Accessibility: QNT can be bought, minted, staked, or redeemed across multiple venues, integrating seamlessly with DeFi markets.
